Kaduna Assembly Begins Probe, Requests El-Rufai’s Loans, Contractual Liabilities, Others
The Kaduna State House of Assembly has commenced investigations into all the financial transactions of the former Governor of the State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
The Kaduna State House of Assembly has commenced investigations into all the financial transactions of the former Governor of the State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

In a letter to the Commissioner in the Ministry of Finance on Monday 22nd April, 2024 ans signed by the Clerk of the Legislature, Barrister Sakinatu Hassan Idris, it requested for documents to be submitted to the ad-hoc Committee set up to investigate the financial loans, contractual liabilities from May 29, 2015 to 29th May 2024.
The documents include loans drawn with the approval of the State House of Assembly, and the accounts in which the loans were lodged as recorded by the Project Finance Management Unit and Debt Management Office.


Minutes of State Executive meetings in regards to the loans and reports of salaries paid from 2016 to 2022.
It also requested terms and conditions of the loans, documents of payments made to the contractors and documents of sales of government properties and accounts were payment were made and how it was expended.
