Police Arrest Two More Suspects in Connection with Inspector’s Wife’s Kidnapping
Operatives from the Lagos State CP Special Squad have apprehended two additional suspects in connection with the kidnapping of Mrs. Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General Hakeem Odumosu.

Operatives from the Lagos State CP Special Squad have apprehended two additional suspects in connection with the kidnapping of Mrs. Odumosu, the wife of retired Assistant Inspector General Hakeem Odumosu.
The suspects, identified as 27-year-old Agbojule Smart and 30-year-old Keleke Michael, were arrested in the early hours of Friday, January 24, 2025, while attempting to leave Lagos State.
According to Police Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the suspects confessed during interrogation that they were part of a gang of four, two of whom had been neutralized earlier.


Upon their arrest, police recovered a sum of Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N2,250,000), which was part of the ransom requested, as well as two locally fabricated rifles and eleven live cartridges.
Mrs Odumosu was successfully rescued by the Ogun State Police Command on January 23, 2025, after being abducted by four masked gunmen on January 16, 2025.
During the operation, her kidnappers were neutralized.
