Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central District, has raised concerns against the biased enforcement of Justice following the attention to the criminal charges filed against her by the Federal Government.

Speaking on Tuesday, her legal counsel, Uju Nwogwugwu Esq. of Queens Law Cradle, revealed that 12 petitions have been filed, including the allegation of sexual harassment against Senate President Godswill Akpabio, which received no substantive response from the Nigeria Police Force or relevant authorities.

According to her legal team, the witnesses cited in her petitions are yet to be invited for clarification or adoption of the complaints by the authorities.

She pointed out that while her petitions remained ignored, counter-petitions by Senator Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello have been swiftly acted upon, which led to a criminal charge against her.

The statement called out the conspiratorial refusal to investigate Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s petitions, implicating key figures, including the counter-petitioners.

It called for fairness, rule of law and impartial justice in all matters involving her and emphasized due process to uphold public confidence.

The letter dated 27th May 2025 revealed that while Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan is out of the country on personal engagement, she’s committed to due process and will make herself available once an arrangement date is confirmed.
