‘Cross Over Service Should End by 11:30 pm’, CAN Chairman Directs
The Lagos State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has directed all Churches to close by 11 pm on the 31st December 2020.

Speaking through a statement, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos State, Bishop Stephen Tunde Adegbite stated that a Live TV broadcast will be made from 11:30 pm to 12: 30 pm for Christians who wish to pray into the next year.
Bishop Stephen disclosed that this measure will help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the State as Christians will worship from the comfort of their homes.
According to the statement, the measure was taken after the State Government raised its concern on the cross over service by Christians in the yuletide and appealed for strict measures to curb the spread of the virus.
Recall that the world is going through the second wave of COVID-19 and there has been a lot of concern as most of the positive cases are asymptomatic.
The Federal Government has, however, advised that citizens should follow the COVID-19 protocol set to avoid being victims of the virus.
