Community Guns Down Bandits, Apprehends Others

The people of Birnin Tudu village in Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara State have gunned down two bandits and apprehended two others on Tuesday.

Reports say the bandits were among the notorious suspects terrorizing the communities in the State.

It was gathered that the two apprehended bandits were handed over to security operatives with confiscated arms they were in possession of.

Communities in Zamfara State have suffered so many terrorist attacks by bandits.

The State Government led by Governor Bello Matawalle asked residents to arm themselves and fight against terrorism after all efforts to negotiate with the terrorists proved abortive.
