Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma has flagged off a food distribution program to civil servants in the State to cushion the effect of the economic challenges bedeviling the country.
In his address at the Imo State Secretariat, Owerri during the flag-off on Wednesday, he reaffirmed his commitment towards the welfare of Imo State workers and the entire people of Imo State.
Governor Uzodinma explained that the current economic hardship is occasioned by global challenges and assured that President Bola Tinubu is addressing those concerns and explained that the policies of the Federal Government with the State are working hard to bring a new life to the people which includes checkmating Crude Oil theft, regulating foreign exchange rates, and reviewing money policies.
While emphasizing the need for the cooperation of civil servants to move Imo State forward, he acquainted them with the Government’s policies and the need for their dedication to the achievements.
