Police Raid Bandits Hideouts, Arrest Suspects, Rescue Victims
The FCT Police Command have arrested four suspects identified as 25 year old Yahaya Abubakar of Mpape, 32-year-old Mohammed Mohamed of Zuba, 20 year old Umar Aliyu and 32-year-old Nura Abdullahi also an ex-convict at Kubwa and Zuba hills respectively following a raid at kidnappers camps at Gidan Dogo and Kweti Forest, Kaduna State, bordering FCT.
The FCT Police Command have arrested four suspects identified as 25 year old Yahaya Abubakar of Mpape, 32-year-old Mohammed Mohamed of Zuba, 20 year old Umar Aliyu and 32-year-old Nura Abdullahi also an ex-convict at Kubwa and Zuba hills respectively following a raid at kidnappers camps at Gidan Dogo and Kweti Forest, Kaduna State, bordering FCT.

According to the spokesperson of the Command, SP Josephine Adeh, Anipr, on Sunday, the feat was achieved through a coordinated effort with the special forces of guards brigade and DSS hunters on June 7, 2024, at about 10:00 am.




It was also gathered that kidnapped victims were rescued during the raid while the illegally erected structures by the kidnappers in all the patrolled camps, were decimated.
Moreover, the suspects freely confessed to being members of a notorious bandit syndicate with the name ‘Mai One Million’, responsible for a series of kidnappings and other heinous crimes in FCT and its environs.
