Lady Stabs ‘Husband’ to Death Over Internet Fraud Proceeds

Oluchi who hails from Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State confessed to the crime after she was arrested by the Imo State Police Command.
The suspect disclosed that she was lured into the crime by the deceased, she stated that right from when they met in 2019, she has been the one catering to their wellbeing.
She said that didn’t stop the deceased from beating her at any slight provocation.
Oluchi, who said she was married to the deceased despite him not paying her bride price stated that when luck shined on them after they had an Indonesian of 250 million rupiahs, they disagreed on the sharing formula and she subsequently stabbed him with a kitchen knife.


The suspect confessed that when she found out he was dead, she quickly took a piece of paper and wrote “You think you can eat my money and go free? I am baba for the boys. I am coming for your wife and your child, including your family,” in order to exonerate herself from the crime and placed the piece of paper on the lifeless body of the deceased.
According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Henry Okoye, the suspect admitted that they have a child together and they have been living together.
The police spokesperson stated that necessary steps have been taken to recover the alleged 250 million Indonesian Rupiah for a possible return to the owner.
“The suspect is currently undergoing investigation at the State Criminal Investigation Department and will certainly be arraigned in court.”
