Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), has stated that human traffickers have to be stopped with every legal measure available.

You didn’t come here to do prostitution, they told you you were going to do sales girl, and they lied to you, so you’re not guilty of anything.
“I want to see you in a few years say ‘Honourable do you remember me, now, I’m the governor of Imo State’.”
