Six Notorious Gang Members Arrested, Weapons Recovered
Police have arrested six notorious members of the Kalare gang at their residences following a coordinated raid conducted between 1:30 AM and 3:00 AM in both Bolari and Layin Waziri Quarters, Gombe State.

Police have arrested six notorious members of the Kalare gang at their residences following a coordinated raid conducted between 1:30 AM and 3:00 AM in both Bolari and Layin Waziri Quarters, Gombe State.
The suspects are identified as follows: Mohammed Sani, alias Mohammed Kalare (22 years old), Haruna Sani, alias Allo (19 years old), Anas Adamu, alias Anas Baki (24 years old), Hassan Abubakar, alias Abidal (20 years old), Habibu Suleiman, alias Two Four (20 years old), and Anas Saleh, alias Mallam Anas (20 years old).
On Thursday, March 12, 2025, DSP Buhari Abdullahi, the Police Public Relations Officer, stated that the suspects voluntarily provided statements under caution, confessing to their affiliation with the Kalare group.

During the operation, a search was conducted, leading to the recovery of the following items: two Dane guns, one machete, two knives, one axe, one DVD player, two shisha pots, a military camouflage cap and hat, one MP3 player, two pairs of rubber sandals, and one pair of scissors.
Photographic evidence was collected, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend additional accomplices and dismantle the criminal network.
