Nurses Protest as Patient’s Relative Struck Nurse with Stone

Nurses are currently protesting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State after a patient’s relative struck a nurse on duty at the hospital with a stone.

Chanting “We no go gree” and “nurses’ lives matter,” they expressed that they will no longer tolerate harassment, embarrassment, and abuse while simply doing their jobs.

The nurses called on the state government and hospital management to take action to protect them from individuals who exhibit abusive behaviour in the line of duty.
