“All My Men Have Gone to Tinubu’s Side” – Ednut Speaks on Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Bid
Popular Nigerian social media personality Tunde Ednut has openly expressed emotional distress following reports that several prominent Southeastern businessmen have declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.

This comes days after Businessman Obinna Inyiegbu known as Obi Cubana, Ituma Chukwuemeka CEO of Enviable Motors, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu – Cubana Chief priest, Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa – Zenco, and other businessmen joined the Cityboy movement ahead of the 2027 election.
In a heartfelt reaction shared online, Ednut lamented that individuals he described as “our top big boys” had switched allegiance to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Among those reportedly backing the president’s second-term bid are notable businessmen including Zenco, Obi Cubana, Chief Priest, Enviable, and others, who were said to have donated buses to support Tinubu’s campaign efforts.
Reacting to the development, Ednut admitted feeling deeply hurt by the political shift. “All my men have gone to Tinubu’s side. I feel somehow inside of me, I feel pain somehow deep inside,” he wrote.
Despite his disappointment, he maintained a tone of loyalty and restraint, noting that he could not publicly criticise the individuals involved because of his personal ties to them.
The influencer reaffirmed his commitment to the OBidient movement, a group of supporters loyal to former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi. “OBidient, no shaking. Peter Obi till the end. We don’t back down,” he stated, encouraging fellow supporters to remain steadfast.
Ednut also acknowledged the emotional toll the news had taken on him, revealing that he unexpectedly became tearful. “I don’t know why, but tears just dropped from my eyes. It feels like all hope is lost now that some of our top big boys have switched to APC,” he said.
However, he urged OBidients to stay hopeful and united, emphasising that if Peter Obi secures his party’s presidential ticket in the primaries, he deserves their full support. “If Peter Obi wins the primaries and gets the ticket to contest for president, let’s give him our full support. All the best,” he added.
While admitting he was not in high spirits at the moment, Ednut concluded his message with resilience: “No wahala sha! E pain me oo! OBidients, we move.”
Recall that Tunde Ednut massively supported and campaigned for Peter Obi, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party.
