Catholic Diocese Condemns Abduction of St. Mary’s Students, Calls for Prayers
The Catholic Diocese of Katangora has condemned the attack and abduction of pupils, students, and teachers of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School, Papiri, Niger State, who were kidnapped on the 21st of November between 1 am and 3 am.

In a statement signed by the Diocesan Secretary, Fr Jatau Luka Joseph, it was revealed that a security personnel was shot and that the security agencies have been informed, while there are coordinated efforts to rescue them.
The statement also called for calm and prayers for the safety of the kidnapped while assuring its commitment to the people and efforts to make sure the students are returned.
