Palliative Items: Abia Online Practitioners Commend Hon. Uko Nkole for Gesture
Abia Online Media Publishers, the umbrella body of Online Media Practitioners in Abia State has commended the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency

Abia Online Media Publishers, the umbrella body of Online Media Practitioners in Abia State has commended the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Honourable Uko Nkole for sending palliative materials to the Organisation to help cushion the effects of the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic.
Speaking while handing over the palliative items to the Chairman Abia Online Media Practitioners, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, Uko Nkole, who said he does not want any office that will not provide the wherewithal to assist in bettering the lives of people, also stated that he recognizes the role the media plays in information dissemination especially the new media in this period of Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic.
The Federal Lawmaker also commended the Online Media Practitioners in Abia State for ensuring good governance and being frontliners in the fight against Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic irrespective of family responsibilities informing that the gesture is meant to assist them to work.
Responding, the Chairman of the Organization, Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, who commended Hon. Uko Nkole for the gesture stated that it has not been easy keeping the public abreast of developments amid the Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic, stressing that members have become vulnerable in the discharge of their duties.
Commenting on how important the donation is to the Organization, Comrade Nwankwo added that the donation by the Federal Lawmaker will give additional impetus to the journalists amid the novel Coronavirus scourge praying God to reward him bountifully.
Items received included; 12 bags of rice, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among others,
