Following the subsequent revelation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that internet fraudster Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi has paid N8 million to DCP Abba Kyari to arrest his business partner Chibuzor Kelly Vincent, the embattled DCP has edited his earlier statement to include the alleged money.

On July 29th 2021, DCP Kyari has refuted the claim of bribery in a post on Facebook and only explained about N300,000 which was paid by Hushpuppi for his native wear.
The edited post removed the N300, 000 for the native wear and included N8 million which he narrated was to be recovered from a second person who duped Abbas.

Meanwhile, the document issued by the United States District Court for the Central District of California and dated February 12, 2021, alleged that Hushpuppi contracted the services of Kyari after Chibuzo allegedly threatened to expose an alleged $1.1m fraud committed against a Qatari businessman.
Here is the edited post;
