The governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma has posited that Nigerians have an option to choose Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president which will enable the country to move forward.
Uzodimma made this assertion in his address to South East APC women, during their one million solidarity match for the party’s presidential candidate, Tinubu, in Owerri, Wednesday.
“We can choose an enigma of human capacity development, an expert in revenue generation engineering, one with a penchant for policy creativity and infrastructure development, so that Nigeria can emerge even stronger than our peers.
“Dear South East Women, this event is a preamble or a sneak peek into what is to come, as we progress in the course of our campaigns for the 2023 general elections
as a people and as a formidable party. It is also an occasion to show our readiness
and preparedness to lead the way in sustaining the gospel of progress and national unity, especially in the entire South East region of our country for the actualization of
that dream of a more progressive Nigeria.
Like some will love to say, we are just here
to test the mic”.
In his address, the Wife of the governor, Barr. Mrs Chioma Uzodimma who informed the gathering that she has been appointed the South East Coordinator for APC women presidential team said the South East APC women rally was just a preamble to what is to come, as the campaigns for the 2023 general elections progress.
“The way forward is to go with Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban and the Asiwaju of Nigeria.
She said that the present APC government has given women a lot of opportunities, in politics and corporate governance, more than any other.
Speaking, Hon. Nkeiru Onyejiocha, a member of the House of Representatives from Abia State, argued that Tinubu is living with a pastor in the house, in the person of his wife, who is also a third term Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and therefore Christians have nothing to fear in his government.
Also speaking, the APC South East women leader Mrs. Better Odi, maintained that South East has fallen for APC, declaring the total support of South East APC women for the candidature of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other candidates of APC for various elective positions come 2023 general elections.
