Again, Catholic Priest Kidnapped in Imo State
A Catholic Reverend Father, Mathias Opara has been kidnapped along Izombe-Ejemekuru–Ogbaku road in Imo State on Friday, 26th of May, 2023 at 2 pm.
A Catholic Reverend Father, Mathias Opara has been kidnapped along Izombe-Ejemekuru–Ogbaku road in Imo State on Friday, 26th of May, 2023 at 2 pm.
In a statement by the Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri, it was gathered that Fr Mathias who is the parish priest of Holy Ghost Catholic Parish Obosima in Ohaji/Egbema LGA was kidnapped while returning from a funeral.
The church called for prayers for the immediate release of Fr Mathias.
