Three employees of an Electrical Company, Excellent Victor, Favour Kpenu and Francis Amos have been arrested for allegedly stealing company wires.
According to DSP Timfon John, the Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer on Thursday, 27th of March 2025, the suspects were unlawfully removing and concealing electrical wires belonging to the company when they were caught.
Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to the crime and further investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of their involvement. They will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.
