Blame Ododo, Bello, Akpabio If There’s Disruptions of Peace in Kogi – Natasha

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the Senator representing Kogi Central District, has said that the Governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, should be blamed if there’s any disruption of law and order in the State ahead of her homecoming to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr with Constituents.

In a post on Social Media on Tuesday, Senator Natasha also urged Nigerians to hold Senate President Godswill Akpabio responsible if any law and order should be disrupted.

“My dear people of Kogi Central, I look forward to our PEACEFUL Sallah celebrations today. However, should we be met with or infiltrated by violence, Nigerians should hold Gov Òdodo, Yahaya Bello & SP Godswill
Akpabio wholly responsible.”

Governor Ododo on Monday placed a ban on all political gatherings following the announcement of Senator Natasha’s homecoming on Tuesday, 1st of April 2025.

Following the sexual harassment allegation against Senator Akpabio by Natasha, there has been an attempt to illegally recall her from the Senate. A petition was submitted by Concerned Citizens of Kogi Central led by Mrs Charity Ijese Kogi West and a lecturer at Kogi State University.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC initially said the petitions had not been addressed properly but made a U-turn barely 24 hours after the announcement that all legal documents were intact and it would go ahead with the procedure for recall.
