Fulani Herdsmen: Ogun Govt. Responds to Sunday Igboho
The Ogun State Government have responded to Yoruba activist Chief Sunday Adeyomo popularly known as Sunday Igboho arriving the State to flush out Fulani herdsmen.
The Ogun State Government have responded to Yoruba activist Chief Sunday Adeyomo popularly known as Sunday Igboho arriving the State to flush out Fulani herdsmen.

The State have stated that they didn’t request for Igboho’s help to chase away the herdsmen.
Fulani herdsmen has been allegedly terrorising the communities in South West and East, destroying farmlands and even killing indigenes who opposes the grazing of cows on their farmlands.

Recall that Igboho stormed Yewa community on Monday, to chase away herdsmen in Oja Odan and Igua community and stated that the Governor Dapo Abiodun has condemned the gruesome killing of his people and allowed him to visit the state for the mission.
In a response, the statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Abdulwaheed Odusile, on Monday, the government said it “will neither welcome nor endorse any initiative that amounts to self-help or is outside the contemplation of the constitution.”
