Fatal Accident Claims One, Grievously Injures Eight Others
A tragic and fatal accident claimed one life and grievously injured eight others at the third mainland Bridge, near Ilaje, Lagos State on Monday morning.
A tragic and fatal accident claimed one life and grievously injured eight others at the third mainland Bridge, near Ilaje, Lagos State on Monday morning.

It was gathered that there was a head-on collision between two Mazda commercial buses (LND 624 YE / EKY 804 YH) on the Third Mainland Bridge en route to Iyana-Oworonsoki.
According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the incident happened as a result of recklessness as both buses were in top speed chase from Adeniji Adele.


The passengers who suffered severe fractures were immediately transported to Gbagada General Hospital for urgent medical care, courtesy of the Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASAMBUS).
Similarly, a Honda CRV (AKD 743 HV) a high speed also overturned on the Third Mainland Bridge near the Unilag waterfront, also inbound Iyana-Oworonsoki.
According to Adebayo Taofiq the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment of LASTMA, there was no casualty in the incident.
