Shettima Appoints Datti’s Brother As Special Adviser

Dr Hakeem Baba Ahmed, the brother to the Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed in the just concluded election has been appointed as the Special Adviser to Vice President Kashim Shettima on Political matters.

Dr Hakeem who is also the Spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum announced the news on Monday and urged Nigerians to pray for him on the task ahead.

He said it was not the time for fence-sitting or criticism but a time to be useful in turning around the country.

“It is time to make it public that I have accepted the call to serve as Special Adviser (Political) to the VP, Kashim Shettima.

“This is not the time for fence-sitting or criticism when you can be useful in turning the country round. I am honored and humbled. Please pray for me and Nigeria,” Hakeem stated.
