NAPTIP Summons Speed Darlington Over Alleged Admission of Sexual Abuse of a Minor
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has officially summoned Nigerian entertainer Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, over allegations stemming from a viral video in which he reportedly admitted to sexually abusing a minor.

In a statement released by the agency, NAPTIP confirmed that a formal invitation was issued to Mr. Okoye on Thursday, May 28, 2025, following the circulation of the disturbing video and other archived footage purportedly containing similar admissions.
“The above notification is a result of the official invitation that was issued to Mr. Darlington Okoye (AKA Speed Darlington) following a viral video and other archived videos in which he admitted to having sexually abused a minor, which he has not responded to,” the agency said.


NAPTIP has urged Mr Okoye to respond to the invitation without delay, warning that failure to do so may trigger further action by the law.
