The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a suspect identified as Fatai Bakare over the alleged killing and concealment of a 42-year-old woman named Onyimi Grace in a ‘Ghana must-go bag.’

The police command revealed that a report came to the Ore division in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State on the 8th of December, 2023 that a body was found at an uncompleted building close to the house of the landlord’s son 28-year-old suspect, Bakare.
Bakare, according to the Police, had blood stains on his leg which made him a strong suspect but he absconded when the police visited the scene.

However, the suspect was arrested the next day on his way to Irele while preliminary investigation revealed that he is an ex-convict and an internet fraudster.
The investigation also revealed that a blood-soaked cloth, confirmed to be what he wore when he committed the crime, was found in his house.
