Former spokesman to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has accused the government led by President Muhammadu Buhari of driving Nigeria into the highest debt profile in history.
He said this through his media handle revealing that former President Goodluck handed over a $7billion debt profile which has risen to $23billion under President Buhari.
He also disclosed that the $500 million which the Minister of information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed revealed will be for the reviving of Nigerian Television Authority can be used in building hospital, schools and alleviating the poverty in the Northern part of the country.
He wrote; “On May 29, 2015, when ex-President Jonathan handed power to General Buhari, our foreign debt was $7 billion. Today our foreign debt is $23 billion. Yet General Buhari wants to borrow $29.6 billion, which will bring it to $52.6 billion.

He further accused the government led by President Buhari of being clueless while wondering who will eventually have it from the doom.
