Crossdresser Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has pleaded guilty to Naira Mutilation before Justice Abimbola Awogboro at the Federal High Court, Lagos State.
Bobrisky who was arraigned on four counts of naira abuse preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission vowed to use his platform to educate people about spraying money.
He disclosed that he wasn’t aware of the law against spraying money but Justice Awogboro reminded him that ignorant of the law is not an excuse.
He said, “I know, My Lord. My Lord, I wish that you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money.
“I would do a video on my page and I will educate people about spraying money.
“I will not repeat it again. I regret my actions.”
The EFCC had arrested the 31 year old crossdresser who prefers to be addressed as ‘Mummy of Lagos’ on Wednesday following a video report of spraying and flaunting wads of new Naira notes at the premiere of a movie, Ajakaju, produced by Eniola Ajao, a Nollywood actress and producer, at Film One Circle Mall, Lekki, Lagos on March 24, 2024.
