Trucks Carrying Foodstuff to Southern States Stranded as Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers Begin Strike
The Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria has started a strike over what it termed ‘demand for their right.’
The Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers of Nigeria has started a strike over what it termed ‘demand for their right.’

In a statement made available to the media, it instructed its members in all States to adhere to the strict demand of the association as severe consequences will be attached to anyone caught offloading foodstuffs.
In a viral video, trucks carrying foodstuffs was seen packed on the village to the boundary of River Niger.

The statement also stated that the strike started on the 25th of February, 2021, and will continue till their demands are met.
It also disclosed that it has written to the President, Muhammadu Buhari demanding their right which has been neglected by the government.
