Man Run Amok, Stab Wife to Death in Anambra State
Police operatives attached to 3-3 Police Station have arrested a 35-year-old man identified as Kingsley Igwe for allegedly murdering his 31-year-old wife, Onyinye Obi with a kitchen knife.
Police operatives attached to 3-3 Police Station have arrested a 35-year-old man identified as Kingsley Igwe for allegedly murdering his 31-year-old wife, Onyinye Obi with a kitchen knife.
The incident happened around 4 am on the 4th of March, 2021, at their residence in Dueze street Otigba in 3-3 area, Awka in Anambra State.
It was gathered that the suspect went out of control and started attacking his wife and inflicted multiple injuries all over her body.
According to police public relation officer, Haruna Mohammed, the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical attention but was confirmed dead on arrival.
The corpse was subsequently deposited at the morgue while the knife was recovered and registered as an exhibit. to
