Some Kano law students have been threatened after they went to a village to enlighten women about their rights.

This happened in Kano State as shared by a Twitter user on Saturday.
She said the women in the village reported the law students to their husbands who in turn, warned the students that if they see them again, they will flog them mercilessly.
The men opined that the law students were teaching their wives how to disrespect them.
The lady wrote, “Kano Law school students were going to villages to talk to the women about their rights.
The women reported to their husbands.
The husbands warned the law school students that if they see them again, they will flog the hell out of their lives😂😂😂.
Not everyone needs help.”
Many responses stated that no one can force a change until the people need the change realizes that they actually need it.
