Nigerians Face Deportation Over COVID-19 Rules in Turkey

Some Nigerians living in Turkey are facing deportation over the violation of COVID-19 rules in the country.

The Turkish government have given orders that every citizen should be on lockdown especially on weekends to prevent the spread of the virus.

But some Nigerians defiled these rules and went to church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and were arrested when the Turkish Police invaded the churches.

They were arrested and those without the residence permit have been taken to detention camp awaiting deportation back to Nigeria while the people with residence permit have been heavily fined.
