PEPT: Court Adjourns as LP, Obi Presents Evidence
The Court of Appeals has adjourned the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to 6th June 2023 at 2 pm following the conclusion of presenting its evidence by the Labour Party on Monday.

Announcing the adjournment, Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani led five-member Judges to admit all the evidence presented by the Counsels of the Labour Party and its Presidential Candidate Mr. Peter Obi.
The Labour Party which came 3rd in the February 25 election presented the form EC8As of 21 LGA in Kogi State, 7 LGA in Sokoto State, 18 LGA in Ondo State, 27 LGA in Imo State, 23 LGA in Kaduna State, 25 LGA in Delta State, 13 LGA in Ebonyi State and Nasarawa State.
However, the Counsels for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, All Progressive Congress, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Vice President Kashim Shettima objected to the tendering of the evidence stating that it will advance a written copy of its objection which will include its reason.
The Labour Party and Peter Obi are challenging the outcome and process that produced President Tinubu of the ruling party APC as the winner of the presidential election.
