Comrade Paul Njoku, the political adviser and campaign strategist to the former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, Engr. Chinedum Orji, has reacted to an open letter to the seating member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha, authored and making rounds by one Okwudiri Chikezie titled:
“Show workings and not court proceedings: OPEN LETTER TO OBI AGUOCHA” which read:

“Dee Obi,

“You are a member of House of Reprensatives. What this means is that you are the cynosure of all eyes as far as Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency is concerned. What we expect of you are results not excuses. After spending three years at the Green Chambers, you should be showing us details of your legislative engagements. I do not mean the phantom and clueless proposals. Your purported but imaginary legislative bill of a Federal Medical Centre in Ikwuano or one elephant institution at Umuahia remains mischievous in my view.

“Dee, other House Members have tangible results to show to their constituents. We know your colleagues whose bills have been passed into law, yet, they have other tangible projects in the interest of their constituents. Is it that they usually exclude you when they are sharing fortunes or you deliberately do not think it is necessary to bring home, dividends of democracy?

“In June 2026, you are showing us the court proceedings or evidence of prosecution of your opponent? How does that exonerate you from the embarrassing reality that you have not attended to the various gully erosion sites in your constituency? Or do you not know that other federal representatives who have sense, do not leave substance to pursue shadow? Why are you aloof as to the very many challenges confronting our Federal Constituency?

“If you are not busy playing “swell” with children, we will see you in a video playing “ludo” with your friends. Why are you complacent with a representation that has not added any value?

“Please, tell us what you had done for us. Show us your projects. Stop embarrassing us. Stop being interested in who is in court or who is being prosecuted. If you are such a legal icon, move round our prisons to release over 300 Umuahia/Ikwuano indigenes awaiting trial for mostly trumped up charges. That is the least you can do.

“While we prepare to replace you with a more success driven person in 2027, be diligent in showing us records of your achievements not court records. E nweghi ihe anyi ji ya mee.

“Thank you.

“I am

“Your brother

“Okwudiri Chikezie”.

Reacting, Comrade Njoku insisted that Hon. Obi Aguocha should find time to reflect on the open letter by his brother and kindly render a profound account to the people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, adding that the core value of legislative representation and selfless leadership is to bring development and empowerment to the door step of the people.

“Hon. Obi Aguocha can not rival the legislative and direct human capital developmental
achievements of Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji as a former member and Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly.

“Aguocha
is unfortunately the most untruthful federal representative regards the basic exigeses of accountability and transparency expected of a lawmaker in the history of legislative politics and impactful representation.

“He should find time to reflect on the open letter by his brother and kindly render a profound account to the people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency than name-dropping Nnamdi Kanu.
