We Have Constructed and  Rehabilitated 16 Roads – Otti

The Governor, Dr Alex Otti stated that his administration has constructed, rehabilitated and commissioned 16 roads since the inception of his administration

He said this at the June 2024 media chat with journalists and media practitioners in Abia State held at the Banquet Hall, Government House in the State Capital.

He pointed out that 16 other roads in the State are currently being worked on, stating clearly that Ohanku Road is very strategic to the government and so work has started on the rehabilitation of the road.

“We have a plan to touch every LGA in the next 12 weeks. We want to finish every road we started as we approach our second year in office. We will give maximum attention to every LGA in the State.”

Speaking on health care, Dr Otti stated that all the Primary Health Centres in the State will receive adequate attention.

“The State Teaching Hospital is on course, a lot of work has been done already.”

Dr Otti blamed the past administration for leaving the State schools in a deplorable condition and assured that education in the State is non-negotiable as the present administration is rehabilitating schools to match a modern standard.

“If you have seen videos of the schools, you will know what we are talking about. The schools were left in a deplorable state and they go about making noise but we are dealing with them.”
