A Chieftain of the Owaza Consultative Assembly Comrade Pastor Nzoputa Ogbuji has thanked Chief Eruba Dimgba, the Abia Federal Representative for Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC for the flag off of major deplorable roads in Owaza, Uzuaku, Imo River to Obigbo junction which also links 144 Battalion Brigade roads in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State which has been a source of concern to the region.
Speaking on Wednesday, Comrade Nzoputa described Chief Eruba as an illustrious son of Owaza for doing what the government and oil companies in the area overlooked.
He thanked President Bola Tinubu for recognizing a personality like Chief Dimgba who has demonstrated that his word is his bond.
Also commending Chief Eruba and his entourage High Chief Faith Izuwa, Eze Oha 1 of Etitioha, HRM Eze Obima Nworgu stated that he is a man to identify with and asserted that more projects will be attracted to the area.
One of the BOT members, Sir Chief Echezie Nwoke expressed joy and satisfaction to the Managing Director of NDDC Chief Dr Sam Ogbuku for finding the son of the soil worthy to work with and said Chief Dimgba is a visionary leader who knows the needs of the people and prayed to God to give him long life.
Concluding, Comrade Nzoputa said the development will be celebrated in the next meeting of the assembly in December 2023.
