Indigenes of in Ehime Mbano Local Governmnet Area of Imo State have sent a Save Our Soul message to the federal government over the collapsed road and linking bridge of Mbano-Umuahia Road.
Some concerned indigenes of the area who spoke to News Echo said collapse of the road and linking bridge has caused untold hardship for people of the local government, making movements in and out of the area, a herculean task.

They called on Hon. Austin Nwachukwu, Special Adviser to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma on National Assembly Matters and Ecological Projects, who hails from the local government to take their plight to the federal government, since the incident is an ecological issue that falls within the purview of his office.
According to the concerned indigenes, if nothing is done urgently by the federal government, the remaining tiny part of the road will cave in and people of the community will be completely cut off from rest of the world.
